Food at Holi

Holi food is festive and varied. Sweet dumplings called gujiya, fried snacks and cooling yogurt dishes are all common, and in many regions a cold, spiced milk drink called thandai is served. Practices vary by family and region.

02

A cooling classic: dahi bhalla

Dahi bhalla, soft lentil dumplings in yogurt, is a popular Holi dish across North India, because it is cooling and easy to serve to a crowd. On our menu, it is a chaat:

  • Dahi Bhalla Chaat, $12.99
  • Dahi Puri, $11.99
  • Pani Puri, $9.99

03

Savoury snacks for a crowd

After playing with colour, people want filling, easy food:

  • Samosa Chaat, $12.99
  • Samosas (x2), $4.99
  • Vada Pav, $5.49
  • Pav Bhaji, $13.99

04

Cold drinks

A cold lassi is a natural partner for a day of colour and water:

  • Mango Lassi, $5.99
  • Masala Soda, $5.99
